As UX/UI Designer, you will be part of a rapidly growing tech company and work on Aufmaster, the leading app for digital cable documentation.

At Aufmaster, you design user experiences for real makers and craftsmen who use software every day that needs to function reliably in their daily work. Our solution connects construction site, warehouse, and office in real-time and is already being used in over 34 countries worldwide.

A special feature of Aufmaster is the combination of software and a unique smart cable length measurement device.

Exactly this combination makes UX/UI so exciting at our company: data is generated directly by our 1,000+ customers on construction sites and in warehouses around the globe, and must be immediately understandable, clear, and reliable to use in the app. Your work ensures that complex technology remains in the background and for our users a smooth, intuitive workflow emerges - from measurement to documentation.

You are part of our product team and work closely with Product, Development, and Customer Success. You bring your own ideas, receive continuous feedback, and develop our user experience iteratively further - always focusing on real use cases and genuine added value.

Aufgaben

As UX/UI Designer for App and Web, you turn complex technology into a product that convinces users in their daily work - and thus significantly influences the success of our software.

Your focus is on functional, intuitive interfaces for our mobile apps (Android & iOS) as well as our web application.

You work closely with development and have direct influence on user experience - from the first idea to go-live.

UX / UI Design (App & Web)

Conceptualization and design for mobile apps and web applications.

• Development of UX concepts, user flows, personas, wireframes, and interactive prototypes
• Planning and implementation of user tests as well as iterative optimization of designs based on feedback and your own evaluation
• Maintenance and further development of our Aufmaster Design System (Figma)
• Closely working with developers at handover, feedback, and iterations
• Ongoing optimization of usability based on usage and customer feedback

Optional / ergänzend

Support for marketing in the creation of UI-related visuals (e.g. for marketing website, online advertising or mailings)

Qualifikation

• Multiple years of experience in UX/UI design, ideally with a focus on mobile apps
• A comprehensive portfolio with UX and UI works
• Very secure handling of Figma and prototyping tools
• Experience with user-centered design, user research or user testing
• Very good German or English skills
• Nice to have: Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, optional JavaScript)
