Utilities Project Manager (2-Year Project)

For one of our partners, an international company in the food industry, we are recruiting a Utilities Engineering Project Manager for a fixed term of 2 years, within a modern production unit in Bucharest.

• Coordinates investment and modernization projects for industrial utilities and production equipment.
• Develops and manages project plans, budgets, deadlines, and necessary resources.
• Supervises the installation, commissioning, and handover of equipment to operational teams.
• Coordinates the activities of suppliers, contractors, and internal teams involved in projects.
• Ensures compliance with technical, quality, food safety, and occupational safety standards.
• Evaluates project risks and implements preventive and mitigation measures.
• Monitors technical documentation, progress reports, and validation documents.
• Organizes training sessions and technical support for operational teams.

• Completed higher technical education in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Food Industry, or similar fields.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in engineering project management in the food or beverage industry.
• Advanced English language proficiency.
• Solid knowledge of industrial installations and utilities: refrigeration, steam, compressed air, water treatment, wastewater treatment plants, HVAC, and fire protection systems.
• Understanding of GMP standards, hygiene, and food safety requirements.
• General knowledge of automated systems and IT/OT environments.
• Very good communication, organization, and coordination skills for multidisciplinary teams.
