User Centered Design Lead

We are looking for a User-Centered Design Lead to join our growing product team. **About the role** As the User-Centered Design Lead, you will be responsible for leading the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design for our SaaS products. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to understand user needs, define product requirements, and design intuitive and engaging user interfaces. You will also be responsible for establishing and maintaining design standards, patterns, and processes. **Responsibilities** * Lead the UX and UI design for our SaaS products, from concept to launch. * Conduct user research, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing. * Create user personas, user flows, and information architecture diagrams. * Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes. * Design user interfaces that are intuitive, engaging, and aligned with our brand. * Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders throughout the product development process. * Establish and maintain design standards, patterns, and processes. * Mentor and guide other designers. * Stay up-to-date on the latest UX/UI trends and technologies. * Present and advocate for design solutions to stakeholders. * Iterate on designs based on user feedback and data analysis. **Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field. * 7+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with a focus on SaaS products. * Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies. * Experience conducting user research and usability testing. * Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD. * Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * A portfolio demonstrating your design skills and experience. **Bonus Points** * Experience with Agile development methodologies. * Experience designing for the healthcare industry. * Experience with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). * Experience with accessibility guidelines (WCAG). **Benefits** * Competitive salary * Health, dental, and vision insurance * Paid time off * Professional development opportunities * A collaborative and supportive work environment * The opportunity to make a real impact on the eyecare industry
