Industry & Sector
We are a fast-growing US tax & accounting software company operating at the intersection of FinTech and Enterprise SaaS, focused exclusively on US-registered technology startups. Our Bangalore centre supports high-volume, software-assisted tax and compliance services for US clients, delivering scalable tax execution and advisory.

Location & Working Model
Full-time, Bengaluru office (hybrid where applicable). Shift: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM IST to service US clients.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Build, hire and train a high-performing US tax processing team; define onboarding, workflows and quality benchmarks.
  • Own end-to-end review and filing of high-volume corporate tax returns and related workpapers (Form 1120) across federal and multiple states.
  • Manage and execute specialized filings including Form 5471, Form 5472, FBAR and BEA submissions; ensure accuracy and timely filing.
  • Lead tax research on complex US tax topics, translate findings into documented positions and implement adjustments across client deliverables.
  • Oversee responses to IRS and state tax notices—compile supporting documentation, coordinate calls with authorities and drive resolution.
  • Maintain and grow client relationships for day-to-day tax matters; support partners in advisory delivery and identifying expanded service opportunities.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

  • CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA)
  • Deep technical knowledge of US federal corporate taxation and multi-state tax compliance
  • Hands-on experience with Form 1120 and high-volume corporate tax return preparation
  • Experience preparing and reviewing Form 5471, Form 5472, FBAR and BEA filings
  • Proven tax research and documentation skills; ability to develop defensible positions under changing law
  • Familiarity with CCH Axcess or similar US tax preparation software

Preferred

  • Prior experience in a technology-focused US tax practice or startup-facing tax services
  • Experience managing teams and operationalising tax workflows using automation tools
  • Exposure to tax provision and financial statement tax impact analysis
