US Accountant (AP and Payroll Background) | Hybrid Guadalajara

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Accountant with proven experience in fast month-end close, bank and account reconciliations, balance sheet preparation, and financial statement reporting. This role requires solid knowledge of Accounts Payable and U.S. payroll processes, along with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Key Responsibilities Complete accurate and timely month-end and year-end closings. Prepare and review bank reconciliations and account statements. Analyze and investigate discrepancies and errors. Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Coordinate and prepare for annual audits and tax returns. Develop and maintain relationships with external auditors and tax professionals. Provide support and assistance to management and other departments as needed. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, and at least 3 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is required. Knowledge of SAP or other accounting software is a plus. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines is essential.
