URGENT: Executive, Senior Purchasing/ Procurement (West)

Responsibilities: Develop and implement procurement strategies, policies, and procedures in the logistics industry. Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and conditions. Manage supplier relationships and conduct performance evaluations. Ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services. Monitor market trends and supplier capabilities to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals. Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and internal partners. Provide guidance and support to purchasing staff to ensure compliance with policies and procedures. Identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
