You will be joining a leading 24/7 Urgent Care clinic that has a supportive multidisciplinary team. We are seeking experienced Urgent Care Physicians, as well as General Practitioners who are interested in developing and specialising further.

Not ready to relocate? We also welcome clinicians interested in regular or ad hoc locum shifts, giving you the opportunity to experience the clinic and Hamilton lifestyle before making a longer term move.

Position overview
This large, well established urgent care centre is one of the region's leading providers of urgent and primary healthcare services.
With a diverse patient population, dedicated Urgent Care services, General Practice, fracture and orthopaedic clinics, and an expanding Nurse Practitioner and multidisciplinary team, you'll be exposed to an engaging and varied clinical workload.

• Provide high quality, patient centred care across a broad range of presentations
• Assess and manage acute, urgent and ongoing health conditions
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment

• Have the flexibility to work across both Urgent Care and General Practice services if desired

Essential skills and experience

• Vocationally Registered Urgent Care Physician and/or General Practitioner or working towards this
• Current APC with the Medical Council of New Zealand
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable working within a fast-paced clinical environment
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning
