Job Purpose The Pharmacy Assistant - Certified is responsible for performing delegated checking functions and for acquiring, preparing, and distributing medications and pharmaceutical products. QUALIFICATION Recognized post-secondary Pharmacy Assistant training program and at least one year of experience in a hospital pharmacy or equivalent. Certified or eligible to be certified in delegated checking functions. Ability to attend work on a regular basis. Ability to perform the duties of the position with minimal supervision. Must have good communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively as part of a team.
