We are currently looking to employ an Upholsterer to join our Rutherford team manufacturing Thermal Blankets as per drawings on a full time basis. Our workshop generally runs between 6am to 6pm. Overtime and weekend work is available at the discretion of the Branch Manager.

The role:
- Sew heat blankets together using industrial sewing machines according to Mammoth Equipment's specifications and quality standards.
- Accurately measure and cut fabric pieces for assembly, ensuring precise dimensions.
- Perform quality checks to verify that heat blankets meet established criteria for durability, strength, and performance.
- Collaborate with the production team to meet manufacturing deadlines and prioritize workload to maximize efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage and inventory control of sewing materials and equipment.
- Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or fabric defects to the supervisor.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
About you:
- Previous industry experience and exposure - Highly regarded
- Ability to interpret measurements and cut accordingly
- Possess a “can-do” attitude
- Be willing and ready to assist other team members and ask for help where you need
- High level of workmanship and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Current and Valid Australian Working Rights
- Be prompt and mindful of start times
- Be capable of filling in daily timesheets
