Support / Administration Hosting Environment

The Projektron GmbH develops and markets the web-based project management software Projektron BCS. For the support of our over 820 customers across Europe and the continuous development of our software, more than 130 employees at five locations in Germany are responsible.

We are now looking for employees to support our hosting on a full-time or part-time basis at our headquarters inBerlin.

Tasks

• Support in the maintenance and development of our automated hosting environment for Projektron BCS
• Maintenance and care of existing hosting VMs and instances
• Communication with our data center service provider
• Participation in the transition of the hosting environment to container technologies to optimize resource utilization
• Development and implementation of technical concepts for containerization and integration with existing administrative structures
• Co-responsibility for securing and hardening web servers and operating systems as part of IT security

Qualification

• Good to very good degree in an IT-related field or equivalent knowledge acquired through professional experience
• Experience in administering an automated hosting environment
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or similar container tools
• Technical administration of web applications
• Administration of Linux server systems
• Knowledge of tools: Nginx, Apache, HAProxy, Ansible, Puppet
• Very good German language skills (C1 or higher)
