Management Consultant

We are looking for a Management Consultant (m/f/d) in Düsseldorf starting January 2027 for projects in Gastronomy & Catering, Hospitality, Bath Operations, and Sports & Recreation. As a family-run management consultancy since 1994 with over 1,800 projects in Germany and Europe, we actively shape these industries. You will be involved operationally from the start, analyzing businesses on-site, evaluating economic viability, developing concepts, and presenting results to committees – in small teams with direct involvement of the management.

Responsibilities

• Look behind the scenes: Visit businesses, talk to management, operational management, and stakeholders
• Analyze: Record processes and infrastructure, check economic viability
• Develop concepts: Co-author strategy and optimization concepts, feasibility studies, and reports, from the initial structure to delivery
• Penetrate markets: Competitive and market analyses, benchmarking of individual company areas
• Support tenders: Design and manage award procedures, evaluate bids and operational concepts
• Present: Co-design committee meetings and present results to city councils, supervisory boards, executive boards, and management teams
• Publish: Contribute to the Altenburg Reports, our industry reference works

Qualifications

• Completed studies with an economic focus or comparable qualification
• One to three years of professional experience in one of our segments or in consulting
• Enjoy numbers and have a feel for what they reveal
• Confident demeanor in front of management teams and municipal committees
• Very good German, as our reports regularly serve as a basis for decision-making for committees
• Willingness to travel to project appointments throughout Germany
