Maintenance Mechanic (m/f) 100%

We are looking for a motivated and experienced maintenance mechanic/metalworker (m/f) 100% for our client, a renowned tradition-based company in Switzerland.

In this key position, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of production facilities in a challenging 3- to 4-shift operation and act as a deputy to the Head of Mechanics when the supervisor is absent.

Your tasks:

• Maintenance and repair: Perform repair and maintenance work on production facilities, mill equipment, and compressed air and steam networks

• Troubleshooting: Quick reaction and resolution of disturbances in daytime and night shifts

• Optimization: Increasing facility efficiency through mechanical optimizations

• Project collaboration: Assistance with planning mechanic projects and planning revisions and maintenance work

• Facility management: Ensuring the integration of new facilities into existing systems

• Purchasing: Procurement of technical/mechanical components within budget

Your profile:

• Diploma in mechanical engineering or metalworking

• Experience as a mechanic with an excellent performance record
• Knowledge of compressed air and steam network maintenance
• Experience in maintaining production facilities, preferably in a shift operation
• High coordination skills and open and clear communication
• Very good German language skills
