Unix/Linux System Administrator (Shift Duty)

Job Description Responsibilities Administer and support Unix and Linux systems across production and DR environments. Perform system upgrades, patching, hardening, and performance tuning. Monitor system health, capacity, backups, and security compliance. Execute disaster recovery planning, testing, and failover activities. Provide L2/L3 incident support and manage problem resolution. Support projects, changes, and maintain system documentation. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in IT or related fields. Must have 3+ years of experience as a Unix/Linux System Administrator. Strong understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux, CentOS, Ubuntu, and Debian. Knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash, Perl, and Python. Familiarity with automation tools like Ansible, SaltStack, and Puppet. Understanding of network protocols and technologies like TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and HTTP. Experience with virtualization platforms like VMware vSphere and KVM. Ability to work in a 24/7 on-call environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
