Unix & Oracle Support Engineer

Job Description: Oracle Unix Support Engineer: We are looking for an experienced Unix/Oracle Engineer with strong expertise in on‑premise Fabric technologies, enterprise data platforms, cloud engineering (GCP), and banking domain solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on skills across Oracle, Unix scripting, automation, monitoring tools, and incident/problem management. Key Responsibilities: Design and support enterprise data and analytics platforms on on‑prem Fabric technologies. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Oracle databases, Unix operating systems, and cloud infrastructure. Develop and maintain automated scripts for data processing, reporting, and analytics. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that meet business requirements. Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and best practices in the field of Unix and Oracle engineering. Provide exceptional customer service and technical support to internal stakeholders. Key Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. 5+ years of experience in Unix/Oracle engineering, with a focus on cloud engineering (GCP) and banking domain solutions. Strong understanding of Oracle database management systems, Unix operating systems, and cloud infrastructure. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Bash. Experience with automation tools like Ansible, SaltStack, or PowerShell. Familiarity with monitoring tools like Nagios, Prometheus, or Grafana. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Certifications: Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) in Database Administration or related field. Unix/Oracle certifications such as OCP or equivalent.
