www.hcltech.com Your role and responsibilities: Lead L2/L3 production and project support for Linux environments Manage installations, patching, migrations, and scripting (Shell & Perl) Troubleshoot hardware/software issues across Linux, HP-UX, Solaris, and AIX Optimize system performance and availability Coach and mentor team members Work with ITIL-based tools and monitoring systems Requirements and Qualifications: Hands-on experience in Linux and Unix systems Deep expertise in filesystem, volume management, and shell scripting Strong understanding of network protocols and architecture Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet Experience with automation tools like Nagios or Prometheus Ability to work in a 24/7 on-call environment Knowledge of ITIL-based processes and procedures
