Unix Engineer

Job Description: Unix Engineer (Banking Operations with OpenShift Expertise) Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Unix Engineer with strong expertise in OpenShift containers and proven banking operations experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the stability, scalability, and security of Unix-based platforms while driving containerization initiatives in a highly regulated banking environment. This role involves working closely with infrastructure, operations, and development teams to design, implement, and maintain Unix-based systems, as well as collaborating with stakeholders to identify and prioritize containerization opportunities. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Unix-based systems, including Linux and AIX, and experience with container orchestration platforms such as OpenShift. Additionally, the candidate will have a solid grasp of scripting languages, such as Bash and Perl, and experience with automation tools like Ansible. The ideal candidate will also have experience with version control systems like Git and a strong understanding of Agile development methodologies. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
