About this position:The Centre of Microbiology and Environmental Systems Science is comprised of 15 groups that conduct internationally leading research in the field of microbial ecology and environmental systems science. The Centre's Department of Microbiology and Ecosystem Science assembles an international, ambitious and committed team and offers an interdisciplinary scientific environment, cutting-edge laboratories and a creative working atmosphere. The Doctoral School in Microbiology and Ecology is part of this department and provides a comprehensive framework for the training of young researchers. The University Assistant Predoctoral - Completion Grant is a 2-year position that will be filled by a highly motivated and talented individual who has completed their Master's degree or equivalent and is now seeking to gain research experience before starting their PhD. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic team, conduct research projects under the supervision of experienced scientists, participate in workshops and training courses, and contribute to the development of the Centre's research profile.
