Uniformed Services Tutor
Location: Hamilton Central
Full-time | Permanent | NZMA Hamilton Campus
About the role:
We are looking for a Uniformed Service Tutor to join our NZMA Hamilton campus at the end of January 2026.
In this role you will inspire the next generation of defence force/armed services, police & security personnel within New Zealand, as you share your experience, skills and training with students from diverse backgrounds, facilitating our Police & Uniformed Services preparation course.
In this role, you will be walking into a lively campus environment where value is placed on achieving meaningful results. You will be given autonomy to work in a way that gets that delivers the best outcomes and will be relied upon to drive progress and create real impact.
Some of your key responsibilities:
Deliver our Uniformed Services (Level 3) course in a way that engages students, making the curriculum lively, interactive, and practically applicable.
Mentor students and track progress and success through effective programme leadership and provide pastoral care.
Stay up to date with of latest industry trends and make recommendations to programme design and assessment and curriculum development.
Support to grow the number of students gaining successful entrance into Defence Force, Security, or other uniformed services.
