Let's connect: Join our specialist department TD16 Caribbean at the Hanover / Germany location on a permanent basis, starting as soon as possible, as an Underwriter for the Caribbean Market. You will combine profound underwriting expertise with international market and client contacts and actively shape the Caribbean reinsurance business.

• Manage the Caribbean property and casualty business in the international reinsurance environment
• Analyze reinsurance offers and assess the associated risks
• Calculate risk-appropriate premiums and underwrite property and casualty risks
• Identify market trends and monitor relevant primary insurance markets and market participants
• Communicate with brokers and clients and maintain business relationships in Spanish and English
• Nurture existing client relationships and forge new contacts through business trips and industry events

• Completed studies in business administration, insurance management, mathematics, or a comparable field
• Several years of professional experience within the reinsurance industry
• Analytical competence and confident handling of Excel
• Fluent Spanish and English language skills as well as the willingness to acquire basic German language skills
• Interest in travel to the Caribbean (approx. two to four times annually) for client visits and market events, flexibly planned within the team
• Confident handling of complex issues, strong communication skills, and adaptability in an international environment
