Job Summary This role involves underwriting and renewing insurance policies, evaluating applications, and making informed decisions aligned with company strategy. The underwriter will support clients and brokers, ensure compliance with relevant regulations, maintain accurate documentation, and contribute to continuous process improvements through data analysis. Responsibilities: • Underwrite and renew insurance policies, ensuring alignment with company strategy. • Evaluate applications, considering relevant factors and making informed decisions. • Support clients and brokers, providing excellent service and ensuring timely communication. • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to company policies. • Contribute to continuous process improvements through data analysis, identifying areas for optimization and implementing changes. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring seamless integration with other departments. • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, providing input and feedback to drive business growth and improve processes. • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices, applying knowledge to drive business decisions. • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, and internal stakeholders, fostering a culture of trust and cooperation. • Participate in training and development programs, staying current with industry developments and best practices. • Perform other duties as required, contributing to the overall success of the Financial Services division.
