Is corporate business underwriting your passion? Do you already have several years of experience in this area and would like to take on more responsibility?

In the P&C Underwriting department for national corporate business, we are looking for an experienced Underwriter in the area of Property and Technical Insurance. In this role, you will be responsible for the quotation process, independently manage and advise the assigned general agencies and brokers, and act as their technical point of contact. Together with our sales team, you will address the needs of our customers and find the best insurance solutions.

What you do

• You independently process quotation requests from general agencies and brokers for new and existing customers
• You identify and assess insurance risks and gather relevant information to determine quotation terms
• You support customers, general agencies, and brokers in technical matters and process insurance applications, including administrative tasks
• You participate in the implementation of portfolio measures
• You maintain telephone and personal contact with customers, agencies, and brokers and act as a technical point of contact

What you bring

• Completed vocational training in commercial professions, preferably supplemented by further higher education in the insurance industry
• Several years of professional experience in the insurance sector, particularly in underwriting or in Property and Technical Insurance
• Strong customer and service orientation combined with good analytical skills and an independent way of working
• Fluent German, any other national language as well as English are an advantage
