Underground Drill Fitter
Roster - 2:2
Pay Rates - $80.00 - $95.00
POH - Perth, FIFO
MMFS are seeking experienced and motivated HD Fitters / Drill Fitters for underground mining operations. responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and repair of a range of OEM mobile mining equipment in a high-paced underground environment.

MMFS are seeking experienced and motivated HD Fitters / Drill Fitters for underground mining operations. responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and repair of a range of OEM mobile mining equipment in a high-paced underground environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance on mobile mining equipment
- Respond to breakdowns and carry out fault finding and repairs underground
- Maintain high equipment availability and reliability
- Support and collaborate with the site maintenance team
- Trade qualified Heavy-Duty Diesel Fitter (Australian-recognised)
- 2 - 5 Plus years' experience in underground mining environments
- Hands-on experience with OEM equipment such as Caterpillar, Atlas Copco, JCB, Normet
- In-depth knowledge of underground drills and loaders
- Valid Australian Driver’s Licence
- First Aid Certificate
- Working at Heights certification
- Dangerous Goods Security Card
- High Risk Work Licences: Dogging and Rigging
- Automotive Air Conditioning licence
- Dual Trade (HD Fitter/Auto Electrician) highly advantageous
- Candidates based in Western Australia preferred
- Must have full Australian working rights
