Job description
A social residence for marginalized or vulnerable people, Résidence Les Sources wishes to complete its team and is looking for, to replace our kitchen manager, for immediate start on a fixed-term contract (CDD):
A Cook
Depending on the evolution within the kitchen team and the needs of the Residence, this contract could evolve into a permanent contract (CDI).
Job Description:
- Development, preparation, and service of balanced menus, in collaboration with the kitchen team
- Preparation of homemade products (fries, desserts, etc.)
- Participation in stock and foodstuff management as well as order placement
- Participation in the supervision and support of our active residents in the kitchen
- Participation in cleaning and maintenance tasks for the premises and kitchen equipment
- Collaboration for the smooth overall functioning of the kitchen
Your Profile:
You hold a Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) as a cook or an equivalent qualification. You have professional experience in a kitchen setting. You are interested in working in a social context and with a vulnerable population. You are a dynamic, autonomous, and organized individual, demonstrating flexibility and a high capacity for adaptation. Comfortable working in a team, you are a good listener, benevolent, and appreciate human relationships. You are motivated to take on new challenges and to invest yourself in a project that places cooking and meal sharing at the heart of the Residence's life.
