UI/UX Designer

Role Overview As a UI/UX Designer, you will design user-centric interfaces that bring clarity to complex geospatial and analytical data. You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and agronomy/data science teams to simplify workflows, design dashboards, and deliver intuitive user journeys for farmers, enterprises, and regulatory clients. This is a hands-on role where design decisions have direct real-world impact—from improving a farmer’s daily monitoring experience to enabling data-driven decisions for agricultural businesses. Responsibilities * Design user interfaces and interaction models for web and mobile applications, ensuring usability, accessibility, and visual appeal. * Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points. * Create user personas, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design ideas and concepts. * Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define product requirements, gather feedback, and iterate on designs. * Develop and maintain a design system, including style guides, component libraries, and UI patterns, to ensure consistency and efficiency. * Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, technologies, and best practices. * Present design solutions and rationale to stakeholders, articulating design decisions effectively. * Work closely with development teams to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently. * Contribute to the overall user experience strategy and vision of the product. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field. * 3+ years of experience as a UI/UX Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design solutions. * Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar. * Experience conducting user research, including usability testing and A/B testing. * Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, interaction design, and visual design. * Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Experience designing for web and mobile platforms. * Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. * Experience with geospatial data visualization is a plus. * Experience working in the agriculture industry is a plus.
