What if you, as a Site Manager Overhead Line Light Rail, contribute to sustainable mobility in and around the city, thereby helping thousands of travelers get on their way smoothly every day? In this role, you ensure that overhead line projects are carried out safely, efficiently, and according to schedule. You combine technology, collaboration, and leadership in a dynamic project environment.
Make it possible
As a Site Manager Overhead Line Light Rail, you work with a close-knit team on various overhead line projects within urban areas. You are responsible for the daily execution of the work and form the link between preparation and execution. You ensure that work is carried out safely, according to schedule, and in compliance with quality requirements.
Our projects are both stand-alone and integrated. This means you regularly collaborate with other business units of BAM Infra, such as Roads and Civil Engineering. Thanks to your organizational skills, you maintain an overview, direct teams, and ensure that bottlenecks are resolved in a timely manner.
A selection of your tasks:
- You independently monitor the progress of the project and organize solutions when bottlenecks arise;
- You ensure a safe working environment and oversee compliance with safety regulations;
- You direct execution teams, subcontractors, and temporary staff and ensure a clear division of tasks;
- You coordinate work with work planners, project managers, and clients;
- You monitor quality, schedule, and costs during execution;
- You contribute to improvements and innovation in execution.
Your team
Your base location is The Hague. From here, you work in integrated project teams for clients such as HTM, RET, and GVB. You collaborate intensively with site managers, work planners, technical project planners, and project managers.

- A salary between €3,623 - €5,988 gross per four weeks, depending on your knowledge and experience. This is based on a 40-hour work week and excludes 8% vacation pay;
- You are entitled to 25 vacation days + 18 rostered days off based on full-time employment according to the Collective Labour Agreement for Rail Infrastructure;
- A lease car (electric) according to the BAM lease car scheme or a mobility budget;
- A laptop and iPhone to perform your work efficiently;
- A good pension (Rail&OV);

This is you
You are a decisive site manager who enjoys working in a dynamic project environment. You maintain an overview, communicate easily with various stakeholders, and are energized by realizing complex projects within rail infrastructure.
In addition:
- You have at least 3 years of work experience as a site manager in the (rail) infrastructure or construction sector;
- You have a Bachelor's degree level of working and thinking;
- You possess strong organizational and communication skills;
- You get excited about working in a project environment;
- You have leadership capabilities.
