Job description

Since the year 2000, luxury watches have been our passion. At Uhren2000, watches from brands like Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, or Omega are inspected, serviced, and treated as they deserve. Customers from all over Germany and beyond rely on us when they buy, sell, or have their watches serviced. The heart of our company is the workshop. It is air-conditioned and equipped with the latest devices for testing, servicing, and refurbishment. For this, we are looking for a Master Watchmaker (m/f/d) who understands their craft at the highest level, works independently, and enjoys working in a dynamic, motivated team. Let us write the next chapter of your career together.
Tasks
  • You will independently service, repair, and maintain high-quality mechanical and automatic watches, from three-hand movements to chronographs and other complications.
  • You will inspect watches purchased or taken in trade upon receipt for condition, originality, and authenticity of movement, case, and individual parts.
  • You will accurately analyze faults and create cost estimates.
  • You will measure and regulate timekeeping accuracy, amplitude, and beat error.
  • You will professionally refurbish cases and bracelets (polishing, satin finishing) without altering the original character.
  • You will perform a final inspection of each watch according to our quality standards before it is sold or shipped.
  • You will identify and procure spare parts and fully document all work steps.
  • You will be a technical point of contact for the team and customers, for example, during purchases and for technical questions.
  • You will actively contribute to the design of workshop processes and equipment.

Profile
  • You have passed the master craftsman examination in watchmaking.
  • You have several years of experience in servicing and overhauling high-quality mechanical watches, ideally in the luxury segment.
  • You are proficient in handling calibers from renowned Swiss and German manufacturers and have experience with chronographs and complications.
  • Manufacturer training or WOSTEP certification is an advantage.
  • You work independently, in a structured and reliable manner, and have an uncompromising demand for quality.
  • You have a good sense of touch, can concentrate for long periods, and love detail.
  • You work discreetly and handle high-value watches responsibly.
  • You are team-oriented and enjoy working with others.
  • You speak German very well; English is an advantage.

We offer
  • An air-conditioned workshop with the latest testing and measuring equipment
  • A great deal of autonomy and space to help shape the workshop
  • Varied work on the most sought-after watches in the world
  • A dynamic team with short decision-making paths
