UGC Creator (m/w/d) - Fashion & Handbags

We are looking for a UGC Creator who loves standing in front of the camera, setting up bags in scene, and producing reels that stay. Perfect. At MAKANI – a growing e-commerce brand in the fashion sector with a focus on handbags – we are seeking a UGC Creator who makes authentic video content from our products and briefings.

Whether Paid Ads, Organic Social, or Product Reels: Your videos decide whether we get scrolled or bought.

Our Mission: timeless design, strong aesthetics, and visual storytelling – and authentic UGC content is a central part of that.

How the collaboration works

• We send you regular MAKANI bags to your home.
• You receive a clear briefing (type of video, length, hook, mood, key messages).
• You produce independently – at home, at your favorite locations, at your own pace.
• You deliver finished content within the agreed-upon deadline.
• Short feedback, possibly a revision round – done.

Tasks

• UGC Production: You film, speak, and edit reels, TikToks, and Ad-Creatives (15–30 sec.) according to our briefings – with smartphone or camera.
• On-Camera Performance: You stand in front of the camera – wear the bags, speak hooks, make reviews, try-ons, and lifestyle scenes.
• Scene Setting: You set up your location yourself – table, light, outfit, props. Your home and your daily life are your set.
• Visual Storytelling: You interpret our briefings with your own sense of mood, outfit, and scene.
• Editing and Finishing: You deliver finished, ready-to-use videos – including music, text overlays, and in the desired formats (9:16, 1:1, 4:5).
• Variations: You set up multiple versions of an idea (hook A/B, outfit variations, different settings), so we can test.
• Brand Look: Your videos match the MAKANI look – warm, editorial, feminine, high-end.

Qualification

• Experience: You already produce content – privately, for other brands, or on your own channel. Show us what you've done so far.
• Tools: You're familiar with CapCut, Premiere Pro, or Final Cut – whichever tool, as long as you're quick.
• On-Camera Presence: You speak freely and naturally in front of the camera – loud, confident, without a script. Hooks, product talks, voice-overs, reviews: This is your element.
• Clothing and Style: Your wardrobe is full of outfits that fit the MAKANI look – warm-beige, editorial, feminine, elegant, minimalist. You dress yourself anyway and can start filming immediately without a styling briefing.
• Aesthetic Understanding: You have a strong sense of image composition, lighting, styling, and warm, editorial looks.
• Briefing Competence: You set up briefings precisely and develop them further with your own creativity – no random principle, but also no rigid adherence.
• Pace and Reliability: You keep deadlines and deliver what you promise.
• Language: German on a native speaker's level.
• Nice to have: Your own reach on TikTok/Instagram, experience with fashion or beauty UGC, own equipment (ring light, tripod, microphone).
