UC Migration Engineer

Job Title: Unified Communications (UC) Migration Engineer Location: Chennai Experience: 3 years in Unified Communications (UC) with hands-on experience in migrating workloads from on-premises, legacy UC systems or carrier grade communication platforms to Cloud based UCaaS and CCaaS solutions Job Overview: We are looking for an experienced UC Migration Engineer to plan, implement and transition voice and unified communication systems from premise based or hosted solutions to cloud based UC and Communication Platform as a Service (CPaaS) solutions. Key Responsibilities: • Plan, design, and execute migration strategies for UC workloads from on-premises, legacy UC systems or carrier grade communication platforms to Cloud based UCaaS and CCaaS solutions. • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business requirements and develop comprehensive migration plans that meet customer needs. • Develop and maintain expertise in cloud-based UC and CPaaS technologies, including but not limited to: Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Workspace, Slack, and other emerging UC and CPaaS platforms. • Design, build, test, and deploy cloud-based UC and CPaaS solutions for customers, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure and systems. • Provide technical guidance and support to customers during the migration process, addressing any issues or concerns that may arise. • Develop and maintain documentation of migration processes, best practices, and lessons learned. • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and new features in cloud-based UC and CPaaS platforms. Requirements: • 3+ years of experience in Unified Communications (UC) with hands-on experience in migrating workloads from on-premises, legacy UC systems or carrier grade communication platforms to Cloud based UCaaS and CCaaS solutions. • Strong understanding of cloud-based UC and CPaaS technologies, including but not limited to: Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Workspace, Slack, and other emerging UC and CPaaS platforms. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
