What is it about?

You will be responsible for the TYPO3 technology of large corporate websites. From effort estimation, conception, and new build to further development, support, and updates. You will advise colleagues and clients and ensure that our projects are built on a clean technical foundation.

Why is this role different with us?

We work for renowned corporations and large medium-sized companies where the website is a strategic flagship. You won't be building website number 47 according to a standard template here. You will make the technical decisions and be responsible for the architecture. We fully trust your experience. In addition, we have our own cloud hosting environment operated by us and a lived DevOps culture that is oriented towards the state of the art.

And what about AI?

It's part of our daily work. Not as a pilot project, but as a tool. You will work with AI as a sparring partner: for refactoring, testing, documenting, getting a quick second look at a migration. The AI suggests, you decide. That's precisely why we're looking for someone with real TYPO3 experience who can recognize when a suggestion is good and when it's nonsense.

What are your tasks?

• You will create the technical concept for newly built TYPO3 websites.

• You will be responsible for the TYPO3 aspects of large client projects: effort estimation, new build, further development, support, and updates.

• You will use AI tools in everyday developer work and further advance our use of AI in development.

• You will document in such a way that others can continue working. Including your future self.

Consulting and Support

• You will advise colleagues and clients on technical topics, for example, on choosing the CMS architecture.

• You will handle customer tickets and support requests that our first-level support cannot resolve directly.

• You will translate technology into client-friendly language and client wishes into clean technology.

What do you bring?

• 4 to 8 years of experience in implementing demanding websites based on TYPO3.

• You are familiar with surrounding tools and technologies, such as Composer, JSON, JavaScript, and XML.

• You are proficient in using SQL databases, such as MariaDB.

• You work with AI coding tools and know where they help and where they don't.

• You enjoy working agilely with Jira, Confluence, and GitLab.

Would be good,
but not a must

• Experience with WordPress.

• Experience with Solr or Elasticsearch.

• Practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps methods.
