Job Description

Have you used Power BI in your professional life – built dashboards, developed data models, written DAX formulas – and now want to pass on this knowledge instead of just using it for internal reports? As a BI Tutor/Instructor, you will support our participants technically and didactically through their BI further training: you will answer their questions, help them overcome hurdles in exercises and projects, and ensure that they not only understand Power BI by the end but can also work with it independently.

You will assess learning progress, conduct final exams, and provide structured, constructive feedback. Through close contact with the learners, you will also actively contribute to the further development of our training programs – in close cooperation with the Coaching Team Lead, the Learning Team, and other interfaces.

Focus Areas of Your Role

• Technical answering of learner questions (written and oral)

• Teaching and deepening training content in live sessions, webinars, classrooms, and individual learning support

• Support with uncertainties in the learning process as well as in exercises and projects

• Conducting and evaluating final exams as well as deciding on training success

• Creation, preparation, and further development of learning materials related to Power BI, DAX, and Power Query

• Quality assurance of existing training, including feedback to the Learning Team

• Conducting individual coaching sessions and supporting new team members

What You Bring With You

• Completed degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Business Informatics, (Business) Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Business Administration with a quantitative focus) or comparable qualification

• 1+ year of experience in Business Intelligence/Data Analysis in a professional context (e.g., data modeling, reporting, dashboard development) with Power BI, including DAX and Power Query.

• SQL knowledge and experience with AI tools are advantageous

• Didactic experience in teaching technical or subject matter content to non-technical target groups

• Understanding of didactic concepts in adult education and online further training

• High customer and service orientation, empathy, clear communication, and constructive feedback culture

• Hands-on mentality, team spirit, resilience, and flexibility

• Very good German and English skills (min. C1)
