Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager, Trust Accounts specializing in accounting, compliance, and budgeting to oversee the Trust's financial operations and ensure regulatory adherence to all applicable laws and regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the Trust's accounts department, including preparing and reviewing financial statements, managing cash flow, and ensuring accurate and timely recording of transactions. Key responsibilities include: • Managing and maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all trust funds, including income, expenses, and assets; • Preparing and presenting regular financial reports to stakeholders, including the Trust's Board of Directors and other relevant parties; • Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and accounting standards; • Developing and implementing effective budgeting and forecasting strategies to ensure the long-term sustainability of the Trust; • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to identify and prioritize financial planning initiatives; • Providing expert advice on financial matters to the Trust's leadership team. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in an educational institution or non-profit organization; • Strong understanding of accounting principles, including GAAP and IFRS; • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
