Responsibilities:

• Inspect trucks and trailers.
• Prepare and follow the inspection form and report to the manager.
• Register the types of elements examined and defects found
• Perform basic mechanical repairs, such as lights, wipers, etc.
• Provide accident reports or videos to the safety team in case of an accident.
• Collaborate on the execution of Emergency Response Plans in the event of a real crisis.
• Maintain precise and complete electronic records of security.
• Obtain and review repair budgets and approve repairs according to all CTPAT regulations.
• Coordinate and implement DOT compliance.

Requirements

• Knowledge of safety standards and industry norms for trailers.
• Excellent observation and attention to detail skills.
• Solid report-writing and documentation skills.
• Ability to work in various environments and physical conditions.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• A degree in logistics or a related field will be valued.
• A valid certification as a load inspector will be valued.
