Truck Driver

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods and materials to and from designated locations in accordance with traffic laws and company policies.
• Assess the load to ensure it complies with weight and safety regulations and report any concerns before departure.
• Supervise or assist in the secure loading and unloading of goods, ensuring cargo is properly positioned and restrained to prevent damage or shifting during transit.
• Ensure the truck and all related equipment are kept clean, well-maintained, and in safe operating condition.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and site personnel to confirm schedules, delivery requirements, and any unexpected delays or incidents.
• Complete all necessary trip documentation accurately and submit reports on time, including delivery confirmations, incident reports, and fuel logs.
• Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure all critical systems—such as brakes, tires, lights, mirrors, and fluid levels—are functioning properly.
• Assess the load to ensure it complies with weight and safety regulations and report any concerns before departure.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of road safety standards, transport regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance throughout each delivery.

Skills and Experience:

• Certificate III qualification is required.
• The candidate must have at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Friendly, positive & approachable attitude.
• Must have valid Driver’s License
• To be energetic & motivated.
• Able to work under pressure.

Salary Package: $65,000 - $85,000 Plus Superannuation per annum.
