Transportplanner

For our client, a very stable family-owned business, we are looking for an experienced planner with a strong passion for transport. The tasks as transport planner: You ensure optimal planning of all transport assignments based on the available drivers and taking into account load factor and turnover. You are the point of contact for our clients and provide a perfect service, work proactively and anticipate where possible to turn problems into solutions. The control and coordination of the transport process are crucial. You are responsible for the timely and efficient execution of the transport assignments. You are also responsible for the coordination and communication with our clients, the drivers and the logistics team. The tasks include: • Planning and coordination of the transport assignments; • Monitoring and control of the transport process; • Communication with our clients, the drivers and the logistics team; • Anticipation and solution of problems; • Optimization of the transport process. The ideal candidate has a degree in logistics or a related field and has at least 3 years of experience in a similar position. You are a team player who is able to work independently and is proactive in finding solutions. You are fluent in Dutch and English.
