Transport Planner

What will your tasks look like in the role of transport planner at our client located in the Roeselare region?

• As a planner, you will be responsible daily for smart and efficient routing of waste containers in West and East Flanders
• You will keep track of the routes
• You will react quickly to unexpected situations and maintain close contact with drivers, customers, and processors
• Afterwards, you will critically analyze the executed routes compared to the planning
• Thanks to your insight, you will work on continuous improvement of the processes
• You will also ensure that all relevant data, such as statuses, time registrations, and any deviations, are kept up-to-date in the systems (EX/TMS)
• You will also promptly record and carefully process damage reports
• In addition, you will manage the master data - from locations to service times and driving times - and clearly and concisely report incidents to the supervisor

• You already have initial experience as a planner in the transport world - you know the tricks of the trade!
• Route planning is a piece of cake for you and you work effortlessly with TMS or FMS systems
• Puzzling with routes and planning gives you energy
• You work carefully, always keep an overview, and remain calm even when pressure increases
• With your fluent communication in Dutch, you can reach everyone, and you also present yourself professionally in French and English
• On-board computers, tablets, Excel, and reports - these are handy tools for you that enable you to work smoothly every day
• You are flexible: you work in a variable schedule between 7 AM and 6 PM, allowing you to combine work and private life well
