Transportplanner

Function How will your task package look like in the role of transport planner at our client located in Zeebrugge? You actively search for suitable loads on digital freight exchanges such as Timocom and Teleroute, always looking for the best match for the trailers. You have daily contact with our drivers, where you functionally guide and accompany them, so that everyone precisely knows what is expected of them. You set up a smart and cost-conscious transportation planning, where you take into account the specific needs of each driver and the company, while also ensuring that the trailers are utilized optimally. You are responsible for the coordination and execution of the transportation planning, including the preparation of transport plans, the coordination of drivers and trailers, and the monitoring of the transportation process. You work closely with the logistics team to ensure that the transportation planning is aligned with the company's goals and objectives. You are also responsible for identifying and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs. You have a strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and are able to work independently and as part of a team. You are fluent in Dutch and English, and have a valid driver's license.
