Transport Planner

What will you do?

We are looking for a transport planner who likes to work together in a friendly team and gets energy from a bit of chaos on the job floor. You are the one who makes sure everything runs smoothly every day: you plan and coordinate transportation, take into account customer wishes, available resources, and rules that apply. Through your efforts, our vehicles depart on time and drivers can do their work safely and well.

You spend a lot of time planning and directing routes and looking for ways to make them even more efficient. You keep track of transport performance and intervene when necessary, so everything runs efficiently and according to plan. You have a lot of contact with drivers, help them where needed, and make sure everyone knows what's going on. You also think about how things can be improved and regularly discuss progress and any special circumstances with our clients.

This is you!

• You have a MBO+ or HBO work and thinking level;

• You have experience in a comparable function;

• You master Dutch, English, and German, both verbally and in writing;

• You have excellent topographic knowledge of Europe;

• You are well-versed in MS Office, especially Excel.
