Transport Manager – Experienced Professional Wanted
Location: Bothwell
Salary: Negotiable - Upwards of £45,000 p.a
RFS Staffing Solutions Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a leading logistics business for an experienced Transport Manager to take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of their busy transport operation.
The Role:
Oversee daily transport operations, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements
Manage drivers, planners, and support staff to deliver a safe and efficient service
Maintain O-licence compliance and ensure all vehicles are roadworthy and service schedules are adhered to
Drive continuous improvement in efficiency, safety, and service levels
Develop and maintain strong client and supplier relationships
What We’re Looking For:
CPC-qualified Transport Manager with proven experience in a similar role
Strong knowledge of transport legislation, driver hours, and compliance requirements
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Ability to balance operational priorities with commercial awareness
Organised, proactive, and solutions-driven
