Transport Manager Portuguese (m/f/d) - Entry into International Dispatch

Then you're in the right place with us: In this role, you will manage operational transport processing after the rough planning and keep the processes on track even when things get dynamic.

Your tasks

• Transport Processing: After the overarching transport planning, you will take over the daily dispatch and reliably manage international transports through operational processing.
• Economic Decisions: You will compare available transport options based on commercial specifications and decide on suitable solutions in daily business.
• Communication with Business Partners: You will coordinate processes in direct exchange with customers, transport partners, drivers, and ferry and railway operators, and quickly clarify outstanding issues.
• Solutions for Short-Term Changes: In case of deviations, capacity bottlenecks, or unplanned events, you will set priorities and develop suitable alternatives together with the involved partners.
• Documentation & Quality: You will document business cases completely and correctly and pay attention to defined quality requirements and internal processes.
• Collaboration & Information Flow: Together with adjacent teams, you will ensure a good flow of information and selectively pass on relevant market and process information.

• Completed commercial education (at least Matura/A-levels)
• Work experience is welcome but not a prerequisite – even as a career starter, you will find a suitable entry point with us.
• You work confidently with MS Office and speak Portuguese (min. C1) and either German (min. B1) or fluent English (min. C1).
• You are willing to undertake regular business trips within your area of responsibility.
• You bring commercial understanding and enjoy organizational and coordination tasks.
• You communicate clearly and in a solution-oriented manner, even when framework conditions change at short notice.
• Independent work, willingness to learn, and team spirit round off your profile.

The annual gross salary is at least € 43,800,-- (full-time basis). Depending on qualifications and experience, there is a willingness to overpay.
