Transport Leader - New Zealand

We are seeking an experienced Transport Leader – New Zealand to drive the growth and success of our transport business nationally. This role can be based anywhere in New Zealand.

You will play a pivotal role in building and strengthening our Transport offering — whether your background lies in Highways, Rail, or both. You will leverage and unify our existing teams to win, deliver and sustain major transport projects across the country.

This is a visible and influential leadership position, ideal for someone who is well connected in the New Zealand transport sector, thrives on building high-performing teams, and is passionate about creating long-term client partnerships.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and grow Egis’ transport presence across New Zealand in the Highways and/or Rail sectors.

• Build, mentor and inspire high-performing teams, fostering collaboration across our existing NZ footprint.

• Drive business development, identifying opportunities, shaping proposals, and strengthening client and partner relationships.

• Oversee project delivery, ensuring excellence in quality, technical outcomes and commercial performance.

• Work closely with senior leaders to set strategy, establish market positioning and support long-term growth.

• Represent Egis with industry bodies, clients and key stakeholders, championing our transport capability.

• Promote continuous improvement, innovation and best practice across teams and projects.
