About the Role
- Execute the daily load and route plan for all channel deliveries
- Direct the Independent Contractors in their execution of the daily load and route plan
- Abide by the predetermined daily load quantities for the Contractors
- Monitor daily loads to ensure service delivery to Clients
- Ensure the data completion of all loads 'live' in FMS and PC Dispatch
- Ensure and (and all) issues are dealt with immediately and a solution found as they arise (such as breakdowns, traffic issues etc)
- Control and monitor the daily and weekly revenue plan
- Compile relevant required paperwork from the previous day, and ensure the data is entered
- Communicate all delivery/pickup issues with the Client
- Immediate reporting of any incidents or non-conformance to company Management
- After hours contact for end of day unfinished routes
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE YOU WILL NEED
- Experience in a similar, fast paced, customer facing role
- Excellent attention to detail and results driven
- The ability to multi-task, prioritise and follow up on tasks
- Problem solving ability with decisive decision making
