Transport Coordinator

We have an exciting opportunity for a Transport Coordinator, based at our Distribution Centre in Wiri and reporting to the Transport Lead. This is a key role that supports the smooth running of TWG Distribution Transport operations, ensuring they are managed in a professional, productive, and cost-efficient way while maintaining high service levels.

Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating the day-to-day scheduling and dispatch of transport activities across TWG’s Distribution Centres and stores.

• Monitoring delivery performance and working with carriers to ensure service levels are met.

• Managing transport documentation and reporting, including delivery records, KPIs, and compliance requirements.

• Building strong working relationships with carriers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

• Supporting the continuous improvement of transport processes to enhance service and efficiency.

• Ensuring costs are controlled and aligned to budget through effective daily monitoring.

• Assisting in problem-solving transport issues quickly and effectively to minimise service disruption.
