About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Transport Company Manager to lead and oversee our fleet operations. This is a pivotal role focused on optimizing transport efficiency, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering outstanding service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Organising the purchase, maintenance, and servicing of transport vehicles, equipment, and fuel supplies.
• Liaising with clients to understand their requirements, providing expert advice on vehicle types, rental or purchase rates, customer obligations, and handling any complaints effectively.
• Receiving and managing orders and bookings while planning and implementing efficient transportation schedules.
• Ensuring that goods are stored and transported in conditions that maintain their quality and integrity.
• Coordinating the timely collection and delivery of vehicles and goods to meet client and operational requirements.
• Maintaining accurate business records and preparing operational statements, reports, and performance metrics.
• Ensuring all transport operations are compliant with current occupational health and safety regulations and standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• 1-2 years of proven experience in transport or fleet management.
• Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance, compliance, and logistics operations.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in fleet management tools and software.
