About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Transport Company Manager to oversee and manage our day-to-day transport operations. This is a senior operational role responsible for fleet management, compliance, scheduling, and client coordination to ensure efficient and safe transport services.

Duties & Responsibilities may Include but not limited to:

1. Organising the purchase, maintenance, and servicing of transport vehicles, equipment, and fuel supplies.
2. Liaising with clients to determine transport requirements and providing advice on vehicle types, service arrangements, rates, and customer obligations, including resolving complaints.
3. Receiving and managing transport orders and bookings, and planning, coordinating, and implementing transportation schedules.
4. Ensuring goods are stored, handled, and transported in conditions that maintain their quality and integrity.
5. Arranging and overseeing the collection and delivery of vehicles and goods in line with operational requirements.
6. Maintaining business records and preparing operational statements, reports, and performance summaries.
7. Ensuring transport operations comply with occupational health and safety requirements and relevant transport regulations.

Skills and Experience Required

1. Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in transport, logistics, or fleet operations.
2. Strong understanding of transport compliance, vehicle maintenance, and scheduling.
3. Proven organisational and people-management skills.
4. Ability to manage operational reporting and business records.
5. Relevant qualification in transport, logistics, or supply chain management is desirable.
