The challenge
We are seeking a transfer administrator or administrator who will join our transfer team.
Reporting to the supervisor or supervisor, Transfers, the successful candidate is responsible for processing daily transfers, revisions, and approvals, as well as managing escalated situations. The selected individual is collaborative, determined to acquire knowledge and experience. They demonstrate enthusiasm and energy to work in a dynamic environment.

A day in your life:
- Processing transfers requested according to service level agreements
- Monitoring the transfer mailbox and collecting incoming mail
- Lunching new manual or NELTC transfers, including internal transfers
- Verifying the status of launched transfers and ensuring follow-up
- Providing operational support for transfers to external institutions
- Classifying completed transfer documents and shredding all printed documents
- Examining requests for information about transfers and responding thereto
- Assisting and replacing other team members in the transfer team, as needed
- Taking on special projects or mandates, as required
Requirements:
Your experience and skills:
- Post-secondary education and/or equivalent experience
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in back-office administration in a mutual fund/investment firm
- Paying particular attention to detail and precision
- Solid problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple tasks to meet daily deadlines
- A strong team spirit, both for your own service and for the entire organization
- A desire to become an expert in the field over time and communicate and understand the functions of other services within the operations team, taking proactive measures to do so
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Knowledge and experience with Dataphile, Fundserv, CDS, and DTCC, an asset
- Mastery (written and oral) of English and French is required to communicate effectively with partners, clients, and colleagues across Canada.
- Ability to work according to the standard Eastern Time schedule

Salary:
The expected salary range for this position is $46,000 to $55,000 CAD per year. Individual compensation conditions are based on various factors unique to each candidate and the requirements of the position.
