Truck Driver; Storeperson
Job description
1. POSITION: TRUCK DRIVER - FULL TIME
Salary: $65,000 to $70,000 per year
Responsibilities
Loading and delivering stock to customer sites and maintaining the safe operation of trucks.
Main duties:
• Conducting daily pre-checks on the vehicle
• Maneuvering vehicles into position for loading and unloading
• Loading and unloading vehicles using lifting and tipping devices
• Observing safety requirements when loading and unloading vehicles
• Making regular quality checks of vehicles to ensure they can be driven safely
• Estimating weights to comply with load limitations and ensuring safe distribution of weight
• Ensuring goods are stowed and securely covered to prevent loss and damage
• Verifying loading documents, checking condition of goods and obtaining certification of deliveries
Required skills and experience:
• Relevant tickets, white card,
• Relevant HR license

2. POSITION: STOREPERSON - FULL TIME
Salary: $65,000 to $70,000 per year
Responsibilities:
Receives, handles and despatches goods, in warehouse and TTF premises in a timely and careful manner.
Main duties:
1. Unloading of vehicles:
• Unloading and ensuring stock is received from Freight company with the correct quantity and weight. Notating any damage/discrepancy on Freight notes before Freight company departs.
• Receives and checks incoming goods for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices.
• Recording of any discrepancies and liasing with office as to course of action.
• Checking and recording of ‘Use by’ dates on stock received.
• Allocates and stacks receipted stock in appropriate warehouse location.
• Ensures all goods paperwork and freight paperwork is forwarded to office in a timely manner.
2. Warehouse stock control:
• Ensuring stock in warehouse is rotated due to ‘Use by’ dates on packaging.
• Working stock quantities to the correct locations and advising Supervisor or office of changes required.
• Knowledge and understanding of all SKU requirements in regards to both customer and supplier stock movements.
• Assists with regular stock takes and cleans work site.
• Operates machinery to lift, place and remove items.
3. Preparing of outgoing stock
• Read, select and prepare customer orders for picking slip in preparation for delivery.
• Liase with Supervisor or office with any discrepancies, nil stocks or date concerns.
• Clearly mark all boxes with customer details.
• Completed order to be stacked in designated despatch areas
4. Stock Returns
• Follow stock return procedure as with Company policy.
