Training for Wholesale and Foreign Trade Management (m/w/d)

During your training in wholesale and foreign trade management, you will get to know various departments of METRO Deutschland Zentrale in Düsseldorf. In addition to the Purchasing , you will also have the opportunity to take a look beyond the horizon and support colleagues in Sales, Accounting, Marketing or Personnel Development. Through practical projects and tasks that complement school education, you will gain a deep insight into the diverse and exciting world of wholesale trade. The training period is two to three years, with a start date of August 1, 2026.

You'll learn:

• You only fetch coffee for yourself, because at METRO Deutschland, you work actively from the start and are part of the team
• Become an expert in the world of goods and learn how to plan and manage a unique product range that is unparalleled in Germany
• Your opinion is sought: Decide on taste tests and sample reviews which new products will make it into the METRO Deutschland product range
• You are the point of contact for our METRO Deutschland markets and stand by their side with advice and support
• Be there when negotiating with suppliers
• You'll learn about our logistics and develop a sense of what products our professional customers want
• In assignments at the wholesale market and at the METRO Deutschland depot, you'll get to know the business up close and gain a better understanding of the processes
