For our foundational module Digital Business Fundamentals, we are looking for a Trainer & Subject Matter Expert (m/f/d) as a permanent employee working 32 hours per week.

Digital Business Fundamentals forms the entry into our further advanced business and tech training courses. Our participants have very different professional, technical, and linguistic backgrounds – from complete digital newbies to individuals with initial professional experience in the digital environment. Your task is to engage them technically, build confidence in handling digital work methods, and lay a solid foundation for their subsequent advanced modules.

Your Tasks

• Conducting live online classes in the morning and supporting participants during their individual learning phase in the afternoon
• Teaching fundamental digital business competencies, from modern work and collaboration tools, project management, data literacy, and Excel/Sheets to AI, automation, and APIs
• Didactic support for diverse learning groups with different technical, linguistic, and digital prior knowledge
• Creating a learning environment where both beginners and more experienced participants are challenged and encouraged
• Technical responsibility for the Digital Business Fundamentals curriculum
• Creating, maintaining, and continuously developing teaching materials, exercises, projects, and learning formats
• Ensuring a practical, understandable, and up-to-date course structure
• Close collaboration with our pedagogical team as well as the SMEs of the advanced specialization modules

You not only impart content but also, as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), are responsible for the technical quality and further development of the module.
Your Skills

• Solid practical experience in several areas of digital business, e.g., digital collaboration and project management, data analysis, Excel/Google Sheets, AI & Automation, or digital business processes
• Completed university degree, apprenticeship, or comparable professional qualification – what matters most to us is that you are technically proficient and can convey your expertise in a practical way
• Teaching, training, or moderation experience, ideally in adult education and in a remote context
• Strong didactic skills and the ability to explain complex digital topics in an understandable and accessible way
• Enjoyment of working with diverse groups and the ability to simultaneously support different learning levels and learning paces
• Very good communication skills as well as a respectful and patient approach to people
• Fluent German and English skills
