Data is rapidly changing the financial world, from smart algorithms predicting risks to AI models assisting in sustainable investing. In the Data Science Traineeship at House of Beta, you will learn how data forms the beating heart of modern financial services. You will develop the skills to deliver data-driven insights for our clients that have a real impact.This is how you will grow into the data scientist shaping the future.

We

• Immediate permanent contract with 27 vacation days. Additionally, you can count on a flexible mobility budget tailored to your transportation preferences: lease car, bicycle, NS Businesscard, shared scooter, or a €225 gross allowance. Switching mid-way is possible!
• A monthly salary of €2,972 (including 8.33% holiday pay) with your own transportation, or €2,747 with a lease car (no personal contribution). Furthermore, your salary will annually increase with your development: up to €325 after the first year and up to €433 after the second year (including holiday pay).
• A People Manager: your personal career coach who supports your growth.
• Unlimited budget for education, training, and professional development to stimulate your growth.

The Data Science traineeship consists of three fixed components:

• Every month you can start with the best onboarding program in the Netherlands! Apply now and start at House of Bèta on, for example,Friday, October 17th, November 7th, or November 14th.
• Gain a lot of relevant work experience in a short time on a secondment basis with impressive names within and outside financial services, such as ABN AMRO, a.s.r., Stedin, and the Tax Administration.
• A training program with a focus on technical training (including Python, Excel/VBA, SQL, and Power BI) and skills training such as Assertiveness Training & Effective Influence.

In the traineeship, you will have full control over your career. Your development is central, and we ensure you have all the space to grow. You will receive personal coaching from an experienced people manager. Together, you will set your goals and ensure you take the steps that are important to you at your own pace. During the traineeship, you will undertake various assignments at leading companies within and outside financial services. You also have access to an unlimited training budget so you can continuously develop yourself. Whether it's technical knowledge or personal skills, you choose which training courses best suit you. We offer you the tools and possibilities, but you decide which direction you want to go.

Learning from both theory and practice is the best learning process. You will do this within House of Bèta. We believe that everyone develops at their own pace. The traineeship is therefore for an indefinite period during which you will develop yourself into a Data Analyst or Data Scientist. Every consultant who starts at House of Bèta begins in the orientation phase. The orientation phase is a period where you have the opportunity to discover where your ambition lies and in which you would like to specialize. In the first year, you will explore the possibilities within financial services. You will build a foundation within this dynamic sector that is at the heart of society. With your knowledge of financial products, you can put the puzzle pieces together and steadily take steps towards Data Science.

On assignment with well-known clients such as ING, Nationale Nederlanden, and PGGM, you will further shape your affinity with data. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and managing datasets to improve products, services, and business decisions. Are you already sure you want to become a Data Analyst or Data Scientist? That sounds good, but you will still be challenged to explore what else is out there.

Through our training track, you will learn the theory necessary for your professional development within the IT world. You will obtain various certifications in, for example, Data Science Fundamentals, SQL, and Power BI. You will also follow training in soft skills. Proactivity and self-direction are success factors for the traineeship. For example, you can think of Assertiveness training, but also Effective Influence, Communicating with Stakeholders, or Presentation. You even have the opportunity to pursue a Master's degree! To become a Data Analyst, you will be coached by a People Manager throughout the entire traineeship, with whom you will jointly determine your professional and personal goals.

With the Mastership Data Science & AI at House of Bèta, you combine full-time work at top companies with a post-master's degree at the Eindhoven University of Technology, at our expense. You

• Possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree OR are in the final phase of your studies, and are available for 32-40 hours per week.
• Are a starter in the job market, with a focus on both your professional and personal development.
• Analytical, entrepreneurial, and with a good dose of courage!
• Flexibly deployable and enthusiastic about secondment. You are willing to travel to the Randstad, despite the possibility of hybrid working.
