  • Gain a lot of relevant work experience in a short time on a secondment basis with appealing names within and outside the financial services sector, such as ABN AMRO, a.s.r., Stedin, and the Tax Administration.
  • An training program with attention to technical training (including Python, Excel/VBA, SQL, and Power BI) and skills training such as Assertiveness Training & Effective Influence.

In the traineeship, you have a lot of control over your career. Your development is central, and we ensure that you are given all the room to grow.

From the start, you will be guided by a strong support team. Our People Matcher ensures a good and suitable start with your client. During the traineeship, you will be guided by a Development Manager, who monitors your development, coaches you, and sharpens your goals together with you. Additionally, you will gain access to our Expertise Hub: a network of experienced professionals and coaches who will help you with technical and personal issues.

Meanwhile, you will work on various assignments at leading organizations and have access to an unlimited training budget. This way, you will continuously develop yourself, both in technical expertise and personal skills. You determine the direction, we offer the opportunities.

Your development as a Data Science trainee

Learning from theory and practice is most effective, and that's exactly how it works at House of Bèta. We believe that everyone develops at their own pace. The traineeship is therefore for an indefinite period, during which you will grow into, for example, a Data Analyst or Data Scientist.

You will start this traineeship with the best onboarding program in the Netherlands. Afterwards, you will gain operational experience with our clients. This will teach you how complex organizations, processes, and data systems function, teach you about stakeholder management, and develop organizational sensitivity. This information and insight are necessary to properly substantiate your future analyses. You will explore financial services and other sectors where data plays a significant role. You will build a strong foundation and develop insight into how data contributes to decision-making. From there, you will take increasingly targeted steps towards Data Science.

On assignment with well-known names like ING, Nationale Nederlanden, and PGGM, you will further develop your affinity with data. You will work with datasets, support analyses, and see how data is used to improve products, services, and processes.

Training and skills training

Through our training pathway, you will deepen and broaden your knowledge. You will obtain certifications in, for example, Python, SQL, and Power BI, and develop skills that you will apply directly in practice. Additionally, you will work on your soft skills. Think of training such as Assertiveness, Effective Influence, Stakeholder Management, and Presentation. Proactivity and self-direction are important success factors here.

Furthermore, you have the option to follow additional training, even up to a master's degree. This way, you can give your development exactly the direction that suits you.

Do you (still) not recognize yourself in a beta background or do you have little experience with programming but would like to get started? No problem! Then our Traineeship Data & IT – Talent&Pro might be exactly what you are looking for. In this program, we guide motivated starters who want to transition to the world of Data Science after their education but do not yet have the technical knowledge. In this program, you will have the opportunity to build those skills from scratch with guidance and certifications.

More academic deepening?

With the Mastership Data Science & AI at House of Bèta, you combine full-time work at top companies with a post-master's degree at our expense at Eindhoven University of Technology. In three years, you will grow into the specialist in Data Science & AI. Make an impact from day one in the financial sector, IT, and (semi-)public organizations. Curious? Click here and read more.
